The Summer Reading Club starts this Friday, June 19. Are you ready?
Kids (Preschool – 5th Grade)
Kids can read for 20 minutes a day to earn prizes.
We’re also planning a full schedule of fun programs including our Summer Reading Kick-Off on Saturday, June 20 at 10:00 AM at the Pauline Evans Branch. Dunk a librarian in our Dunk Tank! More games and activities, too!
Teens (6th Grade – 12th Grade)
READ AND WIN! This year’s prizes include a gift certificate to Sky Zone and much more! Stop by the library to sign up and learn more!
Adults
Read a book or listen to an audiobook, fill out an entry slip (each book is one entry), and join the Author Team of your choice! We’ll have four Author Teams (Sue Grafton, Debbie Macomber, James Patterson, and Stuart Woods) and whichever team reads the most pages will win. One winner from each team will win a new copy of the author’s Summer release.
Summer Movie Club
For the first time ever, both branches are doing a Summer Movie Club. Create your own movie marathon by checking out at least five DVDs and filling out an Entry Form at the Circulation Desk. Two Grand Prize winners will take home a 30 DVD Prize Pack, enough to watch a new movie every night for a month.
Because of our big move, the Summer Reading Club (and the Summer Movie Club) will end on July 31. Good luck to everyone who enters!
