The Irondequoit Public Library, the Town of Irondequoit, and the East Irondequoit and West Irondequoit School Districts will hold a Community Book Discussion this August based around the award winning book Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You by Ibram X. Kendi and Jason Reynolds.

The Community Book Discussion will be held online through Zoom on August 18th, from 6:00 PM until 8:30 PM.

Together as one Irondequoit community, we will come together to listen, learn, and reflect on the history of racism and what being anti-racist really entails. Small break out groups will tackle these courageous conversations, facilitated by members of both school districts. It is our intent that these conversations inspire a call to action within students and families throughout our community. We recognize that these conversations are a starting point for sustained dialogue.

Please register for the Community Book Discussion for Stamped through our Online Calendar to receive the login information.
