IRONDEQUOIT TOWN HALL
On Saturday, May 3 (10:00 AM – 3:00 PM), The Friends are having a Fun Fest on the campus of the Town Hall. It will include a Trunk Sale (garage/craft sale items to be sold from the trunk of your car), raffles, games for kids, the music of Mike Kornrich, Amazing Joe the Magician, food trucks, the Pioneer House and the Blacksmith shop will be open and it should be a great celebration of spring!
Right now The Friends are looking for garage salers, next to newers and crafters who would like to take advantage of this opportunity to sell their wares in a festive atmosphere and a lovely setting. There is an application attached. It will be run like the Farmer’s Market– the sellers will drive up onto the grass of the access road near the gazebo next to the town hall. They can sell out of their trunk, put up a table or a tent. There is space for the first 40 people who apply.
The Friends expect to have sunny skies and lots of people there. If you do not have items to sell, please pass this on to any interested friends, neighbors or family, and make plans to attend and enjoy the activities and find some unique purchases. As you know, it is through fund raising, that the Friends of the Library are able to fund the great programs for children and adults which we enjoy at the Irondequoit Public Library. See you on the 3rd of May!!!
