4thofjulyfireworksIn observance of the 4th of July holiday, the Irondequoit Library will be closed all this weekend: Saturday, July 2nd through Monday, July 4th. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, July 5th.

But if you’re looking for something to do, the Town of Irondequoit is hosting their annual Fourth of July Festival this weekend.

The fun starts on Sunday with the Street Dance, which will begin at 7:00 PM in front of the Town Hall. And on Monday, Irondequoit residents will be able to enjoy the Annual 10K and 2 Mile Fun Run (7:45 AM at Christ the King), the Parade (11:00 AM on Titus Ave between Irondequoit High School and Town Hall), and finally, the Fireworks at dusk (around 9:30 PM).
