Carmen Basilio won boxing’s Middleweight Championship against Sugar Ray Robinson in 1957, and the Rochester Boxing Hall of Fame will honor the 60th anniversary of this victory with a special “Carmen Basilio Showcase” at the library.
Photos and memorabilia from Basilio’s career will be on display on the first floor through September. You can download a brochure produced for the display right here:
