Here’s just a few of the programs we’ll be offering this month…

KIDS PROGRAM: Yoga for Kidz N Parents
Saturday, January 16, at 10:30 AM
Ages 3-5 with a caregiver. This class incorporates simple yoga postures and breathing techniques partnered with a combination of fun uplifting music and calming music to help the children to move, play, and relax. The benefits of yoga for children are to improve strength, balance, and flexibility, and to introduce the children to ways to calm the mind and focus. It balances movement with rest so children can learn the value of activity and stillness. Registration is required.

ADULT PROGRAM: Terrarium 101
Tuesday, January 19, at 7:00 PM

Find out everything you need to know to grow one of these fascinating little container gardens with presenter Paul Tantillo. You’ll learn about the history of terrariums and how they work. Tantillo will demonstrate how to build one, and you’ll get complete instructions for creating your own terrarium at home. Registration is required.

TEEN PROGRAM: Tween Advisory Board
Thursday, January 21, at 4:00 PM

Grades 6-8. Plan programs for tweens at the library, volunteer, and have fun!
