Intro to Italic Calligraphy, A 3-Week Series

Beautiful writing is used for greeting cards, books, quotes, and invitations. Learn the graceful Italic font from Rei Pizarro in this three-week program including how to handle the calligraphy pen, form alphabet letters and punctuation marks, and basic design skills. Please plan on attending all three classes. There is a $25 supply fee payable to instructor, and cash is preferred. Registration is required.


Dealing With Debt Collectors

Dementia Beyond Disease: Enhancing Well-Being

Dr. Allen Power, local geriatrician, award-winning author, and international speaker will explain how the narrow biomedical view of dementia has created barriers to well-being for those who live with the diagnosis, and explain how shifting views to an understanding of the person’s changing experience can provide new insights for care and support, and eliminate the use of potentially harmful psychiatric medications. A classroom driver refresher course designed for drivers aged 50 and over. Graduates are entitled to a 10% discount on their liability and collision insurance.
