This is the Friends of the Irondequoit Public Library Christmas Tree at the George Eastman House. Every year the George Eastman House allows a limited number of Christmas Trees from organizations to be displayed there. This year the Friends tree is one of 16 that are displayed there. When an organization displays their tree at the George Eastman House, it is a way the organization can advertize their group while benefiting the George Eastman House. A silent auction is held on all trees, and all of the proceeds go to the George Eastman House.
