You asked for it, and the Irondequoit Public Library is now ready to begin booking appointments to use the Maker’s Lab. If you ever wanted to get your hands on a 3D Printer, Dremel tool, soldering iron, sewing machine, or embroidery machine, now’s your chance.

To make an appointment, please give us a call at 336-6060 and ask to speak to Matt. But please remember, all users of the Maker’s Lab must complete an in-person “certification” training before they can use any of the tools. Patrons who wish to use the 3D Printer must pay for any printing filament they use ($2.00 base price + $1.00 per meter). And patrons who wish to use the sewing or embroidery machines must bring their own materials, but there is no charge for use.
