Most of the 2015 Federal and State Tax Forms are now available for pickup at the Irondequoit Library. We currently have:
- Federal: 1040 (+ Instructions), 1040A (+ Instructions), 1040EZ (+ Instructions)
- New York State: IT-201 (+ Instructions), IT-203 (+ Instructions), IT-1099R
All other forms can be printed at the 1st Floor Information Desk or the 2nd Floor Reference Desk ($0.15 per page) anytime. Forms can also be obtained online through the IRS or NYS Department of Taxation.
Irondequoit’s Seniors can get their taxes prepared for free by calling the Irondequoit Senior Citizen Center (154 Pinegrove Avenue) at 336-6078. Appointments to work with a tax professional can be made for Tuesdays or Thursdays.
Also, the Central Library will offer a tax filing assistance program from January 30th through April 14th. More information is available by calling 428-8130 or by visiting the Monroe County Library System’s website.
